We are proud to announce The Parenting Center as our Charity of the month (May ’18).
We know that parenting is one of the hardest jobs in the world and everyone, no matter how successful their family may be, can use resources to help them find even greater success.
At The Parenting Center it is our goal to give every child in Tarrant County the childhood they deserve.
Our expert team provides services that enhance and support the parenting experience, including parenting education, co‑parenting education, in‑home visiting, marriage and relationship workshops, clinical counseling and play therapy for children. These wraparound services have helped over half a million families build confidence through the tools and resources they gain.
In 2017, Tarrant County had 5,630 confirmed cases of child abuse. For the last three years, Tarrant County has ranked in the highest top three counties in Texas. Our goal is to empower families through our services so that they are better able to navigate stressful situations that could lead to child abuse and other adverse childhood experiences.
It takes a village to raise a family.
