Make Fruit and Vegetables Convenient

Find yourself buying fresh fruits or vegetables only to not use them? nutrition

When you buy fresh fruit and vegetables the best approach is to take 15 minutes and cut them up right when you get home form the grocery store.  Divide them up into individual servings and store in snack bags in the fridge. That way when you are looking for a snack or packing your lunch they are ready to go, a convenient and healthy choice.

Also Albertson’s have precut fresh fruit and vegetables in their produce section. They are a little more expensive than buying them whole, but a great time saver.  We don’t think twice about spending money on fast food or a cocktail at happy hour, so don’t think twice about spending a little extra on healthy produce!

Planning ahead can set you up for success!
