Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Protein Muffins

Directions: 
2-3 overripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 egg
1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup honey (maple syrup works too!)
1 cup almond meal/flour
4 scoops vanilla protein powder (tone it up protein bakes amazing!)
1 tsp baking soda
1/4-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Be sure to mash the bananas separate first, makes it easier to mix everything. Fold in chocolate chips. Spray a muffin tin and pour the batter in. Bake 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before removing from tin.

Recipe makes about 12 muffins or 24 mini muffins. Store in container. I think they’re best when kept in fridge!
